What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a normal natural process that can feel similar to day dreaming, or using vivid imagination.

It’s a process where you will combine your imagination with focused attention to make rapid and lasting changes in your habits, behaviours and feelings.

Studies shown that hypnosis is best thought of as a skill, and that everyone can be hypnotised. Therefore, it’s actually your ability to utilise this skill and absorb the suggestions that will make the most impact to your change.

Studies have shown that people can actually get better at hypnosis with practice. Therefore, as part of our session(s), I teach you how to improve this skill and increase your ability to absorb the suggestions you want.

You Must Want to Change

Hypnosis is collaborative and cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do. Therefore, you have to want to change, and you have to actively participate in the process.

During our hypnotherapy session(s), my role is teach, instruct and guide you into using hypnosis to achieve your goals and outcomes.

Your role is to follow my instructions to the best of your abilities, follow my lead, and positively engage in the process.
