Anxiety

Anxiety, panic attacks, and other anxiety related issues are on the rise. In the UK it's estimate that 1 in 5 people suffer from anxiety. Symptoms can include some or all of the following.

  • Heart Palpitations
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Neck Tension 
  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Shooting Pains
  • Chest Pains
  • Insomnia & Sleep Problems
  • Muscle Tension

Hypnotherapy is an effective method to treat anxiety. It works by reprogramming the subconscious mind to deal with the underlying belief system and effectively normalising anxious thoughts. Hypnotherapy works changing your response from to the environment and thoughts away from anxiety to a more appropriate response for you, such as mild concern or relaxation & calm. 

Hypnosis works by guiding you into a relaxed and focused state where direct access to the subconscious mind can be accessed. Working with the subconscious mind in this way makes changing anxious thoughts and behaviours easier and quicker.

Hypnosis is a fun and pleasant experience and is similar to the sensation of being engrossed in a really gripping film or book. You will be in control at all times and will experience a pleasant feeling of relaxation and focus.

Typically, I will see you for 2 - 3 sessions for anxiety, and each session will last 50 - 60 minutes. Very occasionally some clients require or want a few additional sessions. My aim is to resolve your presenting issue in the fastest and most appropriate way.

Sessions can be held in person in Woodbridge Suffolk, or via Skype.
